How to grow on Threads: a plan for one or many accounts

Seven steps from a fresh account to steady reach on Threads, and which Thredium module helps at each step.

In short: growth on Threads comes from accounts that look alive, post regularly and take part in other people's conversations. Prepare every account with its own proxy, warm it up for a few sessions, post regularly with different texts, reply to posts in your niche and give your best posts an extra push. Then look at what worked and repeat it. Thredium does these steps for many accounts at once; with one account you can follow the same plan by hand.

Step 1. Prepare the accounts

  • One niche per account. An account that writes about coffee in Odesa is easier to follow than one that writes about everything.
  • Its own proxy. One or two accounts per proxy; residential or mobile proxies suit Threads best. Assign the proxy before the first sign-in, especially for bought accounts — see Proxies for Threads accounts.
  • An Active status. An account with "Needs verification" or "Auth error" needs a new sign-in before any task — see Account sign-in and statuses.

Need more accounts? Ready accounts with 2FA are in the marketplace — Buying Threads accounts with 2FA.

Step 2. Warm the accounts up

A fresh account that follows a hundred people and posts on day one looks unnatural. Start with sessions of scrolling and likes (up to 30 % of posts), then add follows (up to 10 %) and comments (up to 5 %) one at a time. Interest topics make the feed lean towards your niche. The full plan: How to warm up a Threads account.

Step 3. Set up the profile

After a few days of warmup, give the account a clear name, a photo, a short bio about the niche and a link. Profile design changes these fields on several accounts at once; empty fields leave the profile as it is — see Setting up Threads profiles.

Step 4. Post regularly — and differently

Post regularly, at a pace you can keep for months, rather than all at once. With many accounts, never publish the same text everywhere:

  • write variants in braces, such as {Morning tip|Quick tip}, so every account posts its own version;
  • give accounts different photos with "One per account" or "Several per account";
  • plan the week with schedules — Threads scheduler.

Step 5. Join other people's conversations

On Threads, replies show right under the post, and a good reply brings people to your profile. AI commenting reads a post in your niche and answers to the point in its language; you choose topics or exact profiles and the share of posts that get a reply. Start at 20–30 % for new accounts. Step 6. Give your best posts a push

Boosting gives a good post or a new profile its first reactions. In the marketplace's Boosting tab you can order likes, followers, reposts, comments or views for a post or profile; links to fresh posts come straight from a posting task. Start with a small order, and for noticeable posts choose services with a refill guarantee — see Threads boosting.

Step 7. Read the results and repeat

Task logs show what every account did: published posts, likes, follows, comments and errors. Keep what works — topics, times, formats — and change what does not. Turn on Telegram notices for critical errors and account bans so a problem does not go unnoticed for days.

How to get followers on Threads

People follow an account when they understand what it is about and keep meeting it in their feed. What helps most:

  1. A clear profile. The name and the bio say what the account writes about; the photo and the link fit the niche.
  2. Replies under bigger accounts in your niche. Their readers see a good reply right under the post. In AI commenting, "Comment by usernames" opens exactly those profiles and replies only under their posts.
  3. Answers to your own commenters. A conversation under your post keeps people on your profile.
  4. Follows of people from your niche — in warmup, up to 10 % of posts, so that it stays natural.
  5. Regular posts in one topic. A new reader who opens the profile sees why to follow it.
  6. A first push. Followers from the marketplace with a refill guarantee give a new profile a start; they do not replace the steps above.

What slows growth down

MistakeWhy it hurtsInstead
everything on day onesharp jumps look like a botwarm up first, add actions one by one
one text on many accountsidentical posts look like spamvariants in braces, different photos
many accounts on one proxyaccounts are easy to linkone or two accounts per proxy
comments that advertisepeople ignore them, rules forbid spamanswer the post
no regular postingthe profile looks abandoneda weekly schedule

No method guarantees growth or protects accounts from restrictions — Threads makes those decisions. A steady, varied routine is what lowers the risk.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to grow on Threads?

There is no fixed time. Accounts that post regularly in one niche and take part in conversations grow steadily; check your results in Task logs every week and adjust.

Is boosting enough on its own?

No. Bought likes or followers do not replace posts and conversations; they help a post that is already good get noticed.

Can I follow this plan with one account?

Yes. The steps are the same. Thredium saves the most time when you run many accounts.
